About PAL Contractors

PAL Contractors is a highly specialised horizontal directional boring and trenching business. We currently have 20 full time permanent staff all living in the Horsham district.

We are a Telstra and Powercor accredited civil contractor and also perform specialised works for:

• shires
• urban municipalities
• water and sewerage authorities
• gas installations
• & directional drilling rock

PAL Contractors are also Telstra accredited locators for both copper and optic fibre (with Telstra consent). Optic fibre locations are, when required, conducted using vacuum excavation techniques, and we have recently purchased two new state of the art vacuum excavation units ranging from 300 litre to 3000 litre capacity.

PAL Contractors are equipped and accredited to weld PE plastic pipe.

We have an ongoing program to cater for recruitment and training to enable the business to meet the varied requirements for all of its’ clients.

PAL is an accredited Civil Contractors Federation Information Management System contractor, which is constantly undergoing updates and modifications to ensure the system remains current.

We are the major contractor of it's type between Melbourne and Adelaide and is regularly conducting work in areas up to 400 kilometres from its' Horsham base. PAL has also recently completed major highway upgrade works in Adelaide working with Downer EDI Engineering.

PAL actively seeks new and complimentary areas for future development.

PAL has the capacity to respond to emergency call outs at short notice over a wide area of western Victoria and that is why PAL is able to provide a 24 hour, 7 day a week on call service for all clients.
